year 3000
i had a really good day off. i woke up around 3, took alec to work, and then spent a long time at the dimond mall. i walked around the stores and played DDR upstairs in dave and busters for like an hour and a half. right now it's technically the morning of the 5th and i expo for kyle tonight.
it's strange, time. have you ever scrolled through the google calendar years until you're far, far in the future? 2030, 2050, 2070, 2099, 2100... and it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that one day jan 1, 2100 will be the present day and everyone i know will be dead. it's also so interesting to think that this has probably crossed every single person's mind that has ever lived. but, obviously, if nothing and no one ever died this world would overpopulate and we would probably end up throwing people into space or something. like, oh, you have had your 100 years, time to go. i feel like i have read a book with that concept. maybe in uglies?
he said, "i've been to the year 3000
not much has changed but they lived underwater
and your great, great, great granddaughter" is pretty fine
