why?
on oct 13 one of our employees died. i didn't know him but he went to one of the high schools here, with my boyfriend's little cousin and others. he was 17. he was a passenger in a drunk driving incident and got pinned underneath the car they were driving when it rolled over. it was the day before columbus day so school was not in session so the high school sent emails to all the parents/kids. he died and his two friends in the car survived. they had been at a party and afterward when they were driving the driver took the turn too fast and crashed into a guard rail (this is in a hillside neighborhood, they have guard rails and don't want to risk a car going off the edge of the mountain.) the truck sent an automated sos and police arrived 8 minutes later. the driver got arrested for dui, manslaughter, and tampering with evidence.
