somewhere in time

new year's eve

I ended up going to the store. I didn't go back to sleep. It's about 11 now. I also got gas, washed my car, cleaned the inside, and washed the laundry. Later I'll fold it. I might take a nap before work though.

I've always been pretty comfortable with how my body looks, I've never had extreme body dysmorphia or anything, but I know it's bad for my health to not exercise especially now that I'm getting close to being 30, and I know I'm not skinny. I'm average. I'm overweight (140 lbs and I'm 5'4) and I should be around 120 pounds. So, obviously that's one of my new years resolutions, as I'm sure it is for many other people. I've always weighed the same, i'd actually have to put in thoughtful effort to gain weight or lose weight. It's mostly because my eating is very habitual and I work routine shifts at work. At work I'm standing or walking for 6 plus hours. During summer I walk like 9 miles at work every night, five days a week. My body is used to that though so it doesn't do anything for me. I need something really tiring (for me, that could be like, running 2 miles) and I'm not a big fan of that. You could say I'm lazy. I used to be more active outside before I got my car. I'm just so tired after work, but I don't go to sleep - until 6 am usually - and then I sleep most of the day, and repeat.

I currently have 3 days off work every week because it's the slow season so there's really no excuse to not go on my days off.

later:

ahhhhhh happy new year... it's 11:52 pm. I got home from work at 11:30. I'm tuckered out.
