woke up at 3:30 and went to work at 4. I just got back, it's around midnight right now. one of my coworkers released a shift for the week of the 6th and eight people have tried to pick it up so far. on our scheduling website we can see how many people have picked up a released shift. It's that time of the year when so many people want shifts.
anyway, while we were at work alec ordered some thai food and had his little cousin open the door for the door dash driver for us. so I'm eating chicken curry right now, Alec is upstairs eating pho. I'm reading the magicians by lev grossman and it's amazing how much hate this book has gotten on goodreads, although the majority of readers have rated it 5-3 stars, but the biggest issue people has is with the characters... that they're insufferable.
