it's 1 degree and it's been snowing since 4 pm, it's 2:18 am now. work was slow slow slow. i only made $170. i only got two tables the first two hours.

kaj came outside and was like, i got here at one pm!
alec and i got a phone call from eli while we were driving home from work. he was having trouble getting up the hill to his house (he's a new driver). we told him to accelerate and eventually i think he did because he finally got up the hill, he said he was concerned about accelerating because his car smelled like it was overheating but that's normal when you're working your car hard uphill. especially in the snow. alec got off work early so he was able to drive to wingstop and get everyone food which was nice of him.

i've been reading the town with no mirrors. i'll write about that tomorrow...
and holy shit... i just looked at the forecasted low temp on friday and it's -21. more northern towns, sure. that's common. but southcentral alaska? not really. it's a cold january. we were all really surprised it snowed so much today because it's not common for it to be able to snow like this when the temperature is so low.
i saw a video on instagram that someone posted of a pile up on knik bridge. it looked really bad... so glad i don't live in the valley... sometimes i've considered it but..
do you ever think about the future and think wow wow wow wow i'll be working until i'm dead? but also, dead. right. so the working part isn't so bad i guess. sometimes i also think, i can't believe i'm living like this. and i think, well i've been living this way for a while so i can live this way for a little bit longer, you know what i mean?
don't you think it's crazy that in this day and age keith gill was able to just disappear completely from the internet, like his old things are still up but nothing new, at all? i feel like that would be so... as scott pilgrim once said, booooriiing... delete !
but i guess if you're rich you don't need social media to fill the void
